Okay, some obvious choices for fantasy: Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, Wheel of Time, Mistborn series, Gentlemen Bastards, Harry Potter. I've heard good things about Robin Hobb and plan to start in 2018. One that I cannot wait to get and comes highly recommended is

HelloImJez A Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo is a fantasy book I always recommend to people. It's kind of a spin off series of one of her previous series (The Grisha trilogy) but I wouldn't say you'd have to read the other series to enjoy ASoC. Personally, I don't recommend the Grisha series but a buttload of people LOVED it so I suppose I'll say give it a try, too! 7y

Drnkpnkprincess @Talewaggingreads I always try to finish the first book, and then decide what I don‘t like... if it‘s the storyline or writing style of the author, I try a new series, or a different series/book by the same author and try again. I only completely stop reading a boom if it was just bad. Bad for me, bad for my vibes, which ever. Good luck!!!!👍🏼👍🏼 7y
