With everything going on with the fam this last week I just realized I never posted my #scruffyheadednerfhearder for #character2017. I choose Foaly the centaur from Artemis Fowl. He is the tech geek head of the LEP Recon unit, foil hat and all. He is just one of the characters who makes these books such a fun read.

Holden Caulfield for me was a #character2017 where #ducttaperequired. He never shut up. And whined so much for a kid that had it pretty easy.

#character2017 appropriate for the times Wonder Woman is my #AmericanBeauty. So Wonder Woman is not technically from the US, but she originated here in the minds of comic writers and illustrators.

The duology of Parmenion is one of my favourite stories by David Gemmell and a big part of why is Alexander the Great, who's one of the main characters.

The novel's premice is that Alexander was spurred by a demon living inside himself to do the great things he did.
But the demon wanted to conquire the world and subject it. When Alexander discovered this he started looking for a way to stop the demon.

Sigarni is one of the most complex female fantasy characters l've ever read. A girl who kicked ass when that wasn‘t fashion yet, she is truly ruthless and not just a mite controversial. Especially in the first novel of the duology, lronhand Daughter, she's a woman who doesn't care to pursue her every desire unconcern with anyone's need.
But she goes through a huge evolution and in this novel she's a true #PrincessOfPower

With all the #summersantagoespostal I almost forgot today's #character2017 prompt. "Hufflepuffs value hard work, patience, loyalty and fair play" and I think that is Sam to T. Is is one of the first girls at a military boarding school, and lives through hell to keep a promise to her brother. #hufflepuff
