So first I had to look up what nations were in the commonwealth before I knew which authors were #commonwealthauthors but I learn something new everyday. One of my favs is Gordon Korman. He can write action and adventure, but I like it best when he writes comedy with heart. #marchintoreading

It started with just being busy...then I was all like, "Well, which countries ARE in the Commonwealth?" & then I realized a spreadsheet & a Google map I started a few years back to keep track of books I read that take place in other countries & started updating those. & then I made a list of books I've read that take place in Commonwealth countries, & THEN I subtracted the non-#Commonwealthauthors. I need to read more #ownvoices & drink more wine.

These might be the only 2 #commonwealthauthors I have. I've read Room and hope to get to Purple Hibiscus soon. #MarchIntoReading

I think Donoghue might be the only one of the #CommonwealthAuthors I've read. I should probably remedy that soon. #MarchIntoReading

Still laid up in bed on this rainy, stormy autumn day. Taking advantage of the perfect reading weather and getting stuck into a few British cozy mysteries. #marchintoreading Just a small selection of #commonwealthauthors . The top book is a picture book I loved as a kid. I bought it for my new niece, and it was the first ever book her mum read to her!
