My 3rd & final March #ThematicCozies pick #Hobby almost didn‘t happen because when I started the audiobook the narration seemed to have almost no inflection & that bugged me. Since it was 4:30 AM & I was on my way to the airport & wanted it for my commutes last week, I sped it up to 1.5 & that was better. Agatha Raisin is an amuter sleuth who always ends up making the police mad at her for interfering with their cases. She's intrigued when she finds out the bride had been frozen. I do like this series bc Agatha is kind of cranky but wears her ⬇️

What is everyone thinking!?!
I struggled a bit with the April #Sport prompt for #ThematicCozies, as I‘m not a “sporty” person. But I‘m looking forward to reading this one. In addition to being a runner, the main character also owns a book store. 😉
What will everyone else be reading?
I really enjoy this series! I‘ve been reading it out of order…this is book 1. 😂

This was a pretty little story, with just enough magic and mystery to give it depth. The representation was so naturally part of the story, it was top notch. I thought it very interesting to approach depression and other mental illnesses from a magical perspective. The ending was…not entirely satisfying though, which moves this from a firm pick to a soft one. But a fun read overall.
