Got this one at Vinnies in Dubbo and perused it on the way home on the bus before leaving it in the park during the rest stop for someone else to enjoy. I have vintage cases I could store books under my bed in like this picture. This was the only idea I got from this book but it was still enjoyable to flick though. I wouldn‘t pay full price for it though.

1 - I don't decorate my house with books, with two readers in the house we don't have enough space to get clever with displays or shelving. BUT we do decorate with books at our shop. I'm currently working on some paper folding beauties to create a focal point in our new shop but these are taking AGES.

2 - what distracts me from reading? Probably my sister, husband, and TikTok; in that order. Lol

This is such an inspiring book! More importantly it is also full of accessible ideas and powerful encouragement. Definitely recommended for anyone interested in homes, decor and individual style! Now I‘m thinking this book will make a great gift for some of my friends.

I went to a lecture by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen many years ago, where he said something along the lines of “there is no such thing as #GoodTaste or bad taste, just our own opinions”.

The library is open again! These were my first pickup since the pandemic started. Next time I kind of want to try the curbside pickup — having library books delivered to my car sounds amusing.
