Well, that was interesting 🧐. I‘ve read quite a few Patrick Gales and picked up this one somewhere along the way. It happens to be his first novel, and it felt like it. Published in 1985, it features a number of gay characters including 15 year old Seth (presumably Gale). It felt a bit disjointed and amateurish, but the potential is there. #bildungsroman #favouriteauthor

Yesterday I finished One True Loves. I was crying while reading it. It was so emotional and amazing. Great questions about meaning of love, life, and second chances. Gave it 5⭐ and Taylor became my favourite author. This is the second book by her that I gave it 5⭐ I couldn't start a new book, I became so emotional. Hope I can read today.

Avgust Demšar is my #favouriteAuthor from Slovenia and he is crime/mystery writer. This is his 10 book in the series and all of them are set in my hometown Maribor. In this one (English title would be Church) inspector Vrenko‘s challenge is murder of the Bishop. Simple prose, but good characterisation and interesting twists. #MemoirsAndMysteries (Book isn‘t in Litsy database and English title is my translation)
