A painter‘s death by poison, a crumbling marriage & five distinct suspects with much to gain or lose.
I'm so amazed by Christie‘s exploration of art as a mirror of the soul. Poirot‘s methodical unraveling of the truth feels almost poetic, his pursuit as much about healing the wounds of the past as it is about justice. Highlight is the extraordinary ending - how justice isn‘t confined to the courtroom but resonates on a profoundly human level. ♥️
