5feet.of.fury I know we always talk about the politics SK throws in there, it felt normal to me in this book vs Elevation or Billy Summers where it was seeming no reason just because of the timeframe/nature of the character and her situation. 1/6, people calling Covid “just the flu” when you have had family members pass it was hard. So I thought it rang true for Holly & her situation. 1mo

BarkingMadRead @5feet.of.fury I agree, I normally hate how he puts politics in there, and a few times he toed the line for sure, but it all made sense within the storyline 1mo

AllDebooks I loved this, it did feel strange reading about Finders Keepers without Bill. Holly's really coming into her own now. The covid storyline made sense and fitted well within the time frame. I didn't think King got overly political, what he did say was appropriate imo. 1mo

BookwormAHN I loved it and the pseudo science nuts. I got kind of a Silence of The Lambs vibe from it. Anyone else? 1mo

bthegood I've enjoyed the #LosersClub read alongs but I'm going to take a King break for a bit - lately I have not been able to get the same enjoyment from these books as I did years ago - still one of my favorite authors - just need a break so you can take me off the tag list. Holly is really good. I like how Stephen King incorporated the Pandemic into the story. As for the killers, they are very unique. I think they are the one of scariest antagonists that Stephen King created. Brady Hartsfield was pretty but he has some competition. 5 stars ⭐️ out of five. #holly #stephenking
