Within a 2 hour window the tree outside my townhouse lost a few branches due to the weight of the snow. Thankfully, no people, homes, cars have been impacted by these branches. Hopefully the neighbor‘s car remains unscathed overnight. 🤞🏼#NoreasterQuinn2018 #isitsummeryet #inlikealionoutlikealamb #smarchweather

MinDea Whoa! Beautiful pictures of fresh snow, but poor tree! I hope none are over your place that might damage your roof or something! 7y
Redwritinghood I have a tree that fell across my driveway. It‘s not going to be fun digging out tomorrow. 7y
JackOBotts @MinDea thank you. We‘ve been very lucky: we still have power. @Redwritinghood across the driveway, ugh! Be careful tomorrow & good luck. It‘s these moments post-snowfall that make me dislike the winter! 7y

The Cowardly Lion looks extra-cowardly and unhappy here, perhaps because on the part of the cover you can't see, there's a clown. 😄 #coulrophobiaisreal #inlikealionoutlikealamb #marchmadness

Mehso-so

My first thought for #InLikeALionOutLikeALamb was Twilight. It was like a weird memory that popped out about Edward saying the lion fell in love with the lamb? Something like that. But then I realized lion and lamb could also be Beauty & The Beast! This retelling was strange... I can't really decide if I liked it or not to be honest. #MarchMadness

LibrarianRyan I felt that same way. The beastieality scene was a little much for me in what was supposed to be a kids book. 8y
Captivatedbybooks There's beastieality in the book?! @LibrarianRyan (edited) 8y
Smangela @LibrarianRyan yes, it really through me off too - like did not expect that. And I felt like the first half of the book was completely different than the second? @Captivatedbybooks yea it was very very weird lol 8y

LibrarianRyan @Captivatedbybooks yes, not erotic, but it's hard to describe. I was reading it to vet it for a kids book club, got to that point and was like NOPE. The beast is a lion and is in his lion form. It was just odd. 8y
LibrarianRyan @Captivatedbybooks I read this book when it came out. It was so odd, 10+ years later I can still see the scene in my head. 8y
Captivatedbybooks @LibrarianRyan @Smangela even if it isnt erotic the sole insinuation is definitely not a kid book 8y

Suet624 I've never seen that Lamb cover. 8y
Smangela Oh I like your take on this one :) 8y
Jas16 @Smangela Thank you for that because that was one where I had no idea what I was going to do until I threw those books together 8y

This trilogy was definitely my first thought for #inlikealionoutlikealamb. Some of the most moving Christian fiction I've ever read. #marchmadness

annahenke This is my favorite CF series ever! I was just writing a blog post about it the other day. 😊 8y
Celeste57 @annahenke It's wonderful. Definitely in my top three of the genre, along with these: (edited) 8y
annahenke Thanks for the recs! My next favorite series is this one by Lynn Austin 8y
Celeste57 @annahenke Thank you for the rec as well. I'll look it up! 😊 8y
