I purchased this today for #LitsyRC16! I admit that I had never heard of Theo before finding out that he both wrote a book and was born in 1989! The first thing I found when I googled him was that he wore the wrong length sleeves... So this should be an interesting read 😉 But actually I'm really excited, I hope to learn more about the world of football! I'm also going to use this for #readharder #bookaboutsports! #Litsyreadingchallenge

RadicalReader @EllieDottie what do you mean by the wrong length sleeves? 8y
EllieDottie @RadicalReader apparently he was suppose to wear long sleeves like all his teammate but he wore short sleeves during a game! 8y

Just finished the audiobook for this and really enjoyed it. I don't really like audiobooks unless they are suspenseful/fast moving or sometimes funny. This was just suspenseful enough to hold my interest and the narrator was great. The french accent annoyed me sometimes but that may have been the character. #LitsyAtoZ #LitsyRC16 writer my age (1969 rocked for writers born) and #ERMadLibs can"t find pic of book so here is a random one on my phone

Bibliogeekery Loved this one! 8y

Fantastic. Adiche writes with such passion and intensity, gripping you, making you feel all the complex emotions along with Kambili. I didn't want this book to end. I truly felt like this was such an important book to read. 5*'s 💞📚 Also ✅'P' for my #LitsyAtoZ challenge and also #LitsyRC16 'born the same year' ✅ #mustread Also finished at 4am thanks to #litsomnia

If I had known this book was sci-fi I would not have picked it up. I'm really glad I stepped out of my comfort zone. This book was highly entertaining. It also qualifies as my #litsyRC16 written by someone my age. #litsyreadingchallenge

Reviewsbylola The sci Fi label scared me. I never would have read this is it hadn't been a #botm selection. At that point I finally gave in. 8y
Karli And you can loan it to me! 8y
