pickEarlier this week my sister recommended the book before this one, Even Now. I really enjoyed it and immediately started this one when I finished the first. The story continues right where the other leaves off which helped with character development in the series. While I throughly enjoyed both books, this one just hit too close to home with the military/seperation/loss of life for me. Consider triggers for some readers that may struggle.
