Don't let the quantum physics scare you. Crouch explains it well without talking down to the reader. As long as you understand the sci-fi concept of alternative timelines, you'll be fine.

So much fun! It's not going to win any Pulitzers, but if you're a YA, mystery, &/or Sherlock Holmes fan, this is a sweet page-turner. Since I am a fan of all three of those, I enjoyed it thoroughly and will read more of her work.

Must admit, however, that I *did* read the entire thing picturing Charlotte Holmes as the daughter of Benedict Cumberbatch. Not that I'm apologizing for that. 😉

So. This is a hard one to rate. I didn't love it... but it was narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch. Just scroll through my feed, & you'll understand. 😉 I very well might have bailed if I were reading it instead of listening to it. But... BC's voice. *swoon*

Must admit that I didn't love this book as much as many of you did. Having said that, one cannot help but admire the Noah family & what they have been through in their lives. My problems pale in comparison. Still a "pick" rating for me, just not my favorite. Did love hearing it in his voice, however!

Short, sweet, fun read! This has been on my #tbr for a while, and it didn't disappoint! I am finally ready to post my 2017 #bookishresolutions. This year I want to read at least 75 books. I retired last year and have more time to dedicate - the challenge will be to stay off social media and READ. And just a small complaint- I really wish that cell phones had the hashtag a little more accessible!😳
