Last working week before school holidays. As for after work… Monday= ballet exam class. Tuesday= ballet class plus pointe class. Wednesday= beauty appointment and online ballet class, Thursday advanced ballet class then exam class. Friday= ballet photo shoot then pole class. Saturday= leave at 3am to catch 2 trains to get to my parent‘s place at 1:45pm. Sunday= Mum‘s birthday at the Gold Cup Races Dubbo. Dad‘s new horse races for the first time.

Cheshirecat913 I got to go apple picking last year and loved it. It was something I did as a kid and glad I did it again. All the apples and apple cider flavored everything. Have fun! 1d

Big plans this week for creating a small front patio where there was just a weedy mess, and redoing the cracking cement walkway with pavers. The pavers in this pic are just roughly laid out to test out pattern. Good thing we did that because we changed what we originally thought we were gonna do.

Today is the equinox, so the official start of Autumn, & in the short-lived French Revolutionary calendar, the start of the new year. And the day of grapes (each day was given the name of a produce, tool, animal or mineral). It has no bearing on real life, but I like to check which day it is in this calendar.
In RL, in France, we're still waiting for the new prime minister to form a government 😩

2 saffron
3 chestnut
4 autumn crocus
5 horse
6 small balsam

And then, because revolutionaries turned everything decimal, three more days, for a 10-day week (that one decimalisation never took off!):

tank

The calendar was thought up by a poet & it shows. I love the fact that names are seasonal.
