When I decided to participate in #foodandlit2022 I also wanted to #ROOT. I found tittles in my tbr for 10 of the 12 countries, missing only Haiti and Kenya. I have a friend in Kenya I will be asking for recs. But I was so touched and excited that my husband researched, selected, and gave this title to me for Christmas to read together for Haiti! #texreader #butterfinger #catsandbooks

🤔🤔🤔🤔 Hmmm. I sort of forgot about having to do the ticker tape in the #ROOT group. Not sure that's something I want to fiddle with. Maybe I should just stick to paper and pencil.

rabbitprincess I think there are a few people in the group who don't use tickers; they just post their totals on the monthly thread at the end of each month. 5y

rabbitprincess @RestlessFickleBookHoarder As long as the group admin knows what your goal is and how far you are toward achieving it, that should be enough. You could even create a text-only ticker by posting in the ticker thread "RFBH's books: 10/12 read" and editing that post every month as you get closer to your goal ? 5y
