Omg this book is hilarious I have laughed out loud so much, don't read it in public!!

@squirrelbrain Thank you so much I needed that laugh 😆

squirrelbrain Glad you enjoyed it! 👍😁 2w
Deifio Oh but I think it's nice when people read a book and have to laugh! Makes me want to ask what they're reading, but am always afraid I'll disturb their reading flow and enjoyment of the book 🙈😅 2w

The subject was vial and so is the person!
The author was very honest and very blunt about Kelly's activities in many states with young girl's some as young as 13!
Jim DeRogatis was facing being sued by Kelly and his team but he kept the girls Identity quite. Good man.

LibrarianRyan I'm often amazed how many times he as been investigated or brought up on charges just to have them dropped. They should have got him years ago. Hopefully he gets found guilty. 2mo
kaysworld1 @LibrarianRyan Totally agree with you. It's about time they did the right thing for once and take him down. 2mo

This is an interesting read. He does not hold back on the details and it is shocking how much R. Kelly got away with so much but then that's what money does for you. It is shocking how much celebrity's get away with.

In this case it was my mug of chocolate almond tea on my Kindle cover in the first attempt at a pic of a relaxing morning reading. My Kindle is fine! Take 2: my iPad and iced tea in a covered cup. That was after I cleaned up everything and threw my robe and pajamas in the wash! I‘m still waiting on the relaxing bit to show up. 🙃☕️🥤

This is very personal post.
I've been having a bit of trouble dealing with thing's properly and I was wondering if you guys have any self help books about Grief. How to deal with it when you're stuck and it's getting darker I know I'll never get over it but I just need something.

I don't usually ask or read self help books but I know the litsy world won't judge me of laugh at me for asking. 😭 🤟

MoonWitch94 When I lost my Dad a few years ago, this one helped. I'm sorry you are going through this. ❤ 4mo
KristenDuck Look into When Bad Things Happen to Good People by Harold Kushner... maybe not self-help but it could be beneficial 4mo
Chrissyreadit Have you worked with or reached out to hospice? They often have grief counseling and resources. Grief is hard- I just lost a friend and another friend shared a picture for a group of us about grief- I will try to share it 4mo

Smrloomis So sorry to hear that it‘s tough right now. Sending you good thoughts and I hope others‘ book recommendations will really help. For whatever it‘s worth, I found this memoir by Joan Didion to be oddly comforting. (edited) 4mo
CBee The book above has helped me a lot. I‘m so sorry for your loss 🙁💔 4mo
Birdsong28 Sorry for your loss 😘 ❤️📚📖 4mo
Emilymdxn I‘m so sorry for your loss, sending so much love. I also got a lot out of reading the year of magical thinking. I hope you find some things to read that help you in this difficult time 4mo
Megabooks I‘m so sorry for your loss! Sometimes funeral homes have bereavement groups led by a counselor. I don‘t know if you would find that helpful or not. 💜💜 4mo
Jenken1998 Hugs. There are many great books on grief but dont be surprised if you have trouble concentrating and find it hard to read. Its very normal. A grief group is a great idea. I have run many of them as a therapist. Its nice to be surrounded by supportive people who know what you are going through. 4mo
stephothebesto If you want one that is about grieving, but also about something completely different, you could try H is for Hawk. The author narrates the audiobook and I find her voice very soothing. 4mo
kaysworld1 @stephothebesto Hello, thank you for your recommendation but I have already read the book last year I borrowed it from my brother ❣️ 4mo

This book is hilarious.
A lot of swearing but I love it.

ljuliel I‘ve had this on Audible for ages and never saw it mentioned before. I‘m glad to hear it‘s good. I‘m not even familiar with who the author is, but I like memoirs and this sounded good. 6mo
kaysworld1 @ljuliel hey there, it is good I'm on page 41 and laughing out loud a few times already. He is brutally honest and doesn't hold back. He swears a bit too 🤷 he made the film Paul, Shane of the Dead, Hot Fuzz. 6mo

I really enjoyed the history in this book.
I knew a lot of it already from studying but it was nice to have the blanks filled in.
The only problem for me was this book was mainly about gay men there was only 2 chapters I remember about woman, Could of had more.
