pickI‘ve tried to savor Chamberlain‘s backlog since first discovering her books over a dozen years ago— & now I only have one left in my TBR after finishing this 1996 release. It takes a lightning strike to reunite a grandmother with the granddaughter, Rachel, who left their PA bucolic town amidst the event still traumatic for the town & Rachel. Second chance romance & plenty of family secrets abound in this well performed, but not favorite, listen.
