This is not your traditional murder mystery book since it‘s not written in a novel format. Instead, you are given all the pieces to solve the mystery yourself. These included pictures, interview transcripts, notes, maps, newspaper articles, etc.

Today is my birthday so I took myself on a trip to Sleepy Hollow, NY for a few days. Everything is decked out for Halloween and very autumn-y and I visited both Washington Irving‘s home and his grave.

pickI love Armstrong‘s writing & her latest is great for this #SpookySeason— a reimagining of #TheLegendOfSleepyHollow! Sam‘s not returned to Paynes Hollow since she was a child who witnessed a horrible event that tore her family apart. Now, desperate for the money her inheritance will bring, she is forced to spend a month back in her family cottage. With a twisting plot, higher body count than expected & fast-pace, this one is impossible to put down!
pickIt gets a solid 75%. The third of the four stories (The Body) dragged on and on for no apparent reason, and I could not wait for it to end. The other three were compelling and interesting. Overall, I would recommend.
