RL Stine was always a go to author for me while growing up, so I had fun digging into the rebooting of his Fear Street series.

I started reading and then just didn‘t stop. I loved, loved, loved this one. When I thought I knew where the story was going, it twisted and had me saying “WTF” out loud on several occasions.
The changing points of view gave the story an extra edge and really built up the characters.

As an elder emo, The Nightmare Before Christmas will forever have a special place in my heart and life.

I really enjoyed this one. I thought the idea of an advent book was great and it helped make the story more engaging. It was difficult to keep to a chapter per day once the story really picked up and I REALLY wanted to know what was going to happen next, but I held tough. I wouldn‘t mind seeing more advent type stories and will definitely seek out more Christmas horror.

It‘s a book that‘s been on my TBR for a while and now I‘ve finished it. I needed to take breaks from it because some scenes were so gruesome. I cannot recommend this book and I don‘t ever want to read it again. If it‘s on your TBR, I wouldn‘t blame you for leaving it there. I loved this. I love plants, so learning about all the terrible ones has been a ton of fun. My ADHD brain really appreciates that the information is handed to you in small educational chunks unlike some other reference books. Definitely recommend if you have any interests in plants or devious nature.
