So I finished Smoke and Iron and ... arrgghh!!! I cheered, cried and screamed reading this book! What a great series so far and now I have to wait till next year for the final book! I enjoyed this #TheGreatLibraryReadAlong very much!

Hoping to start this tonight if I can stay awake. If not, then tomorrow! Excited to see what happens. Not sure about the format change (focus on multiple characters instead of just Jess). And I thought this was the last book, but there's going to be one more!

This baby has been sick the last couple of days. Took him to vet today, which he abhores (hate is not a strong enough word).

Lreads I'm sorry your kitty is unwell and hope things improve. My cat turns almost feral when I have to take her to the vet. I had never heard a cat scream before until Scratchy was at the vet! 6y

tonyahoswalt @QuietlyLaura That's how Jack is! All screams and howls, scratch's and bites. He was only slightly feral yesterday since he felt so bad. 6y

tonyahoswalt @CouronneDhiver Diagnosis for now was fever of unknown origin. Everything else looked good. He got a steroid shot, an antibiotic shot, and some fluids, and has perked up a bit. 6y

thereadingowlvina @Quirkybookworm It's a 5 books series and the first book (Ink and Bone) was released on 2015. I didn't buy it as a set but individually. Maybe they'll come as box set once the last book is release next year. Yes! The covers are soooo beautiful. You should check out the UK edition covers too. They're amazing!!! 🤗 6y

julesG I can recommend the audiobooks for this series. The narrator is pretty good, he only slipped a few times giving Kaleila more of an Indian accent than an Arabic one, but I'm splitting hairs. 😉 6y

staci.reads I read it in spurts 😊 I'd get a couple behind and get caught up, but yesterday I was stuck in the car for hours, so I read chapt 12 to the end. 6y
