The Haunting | Natasha Preston

My first time reading from this author, it was an ok read...I didn't DNF it, the ending felt a bit rushed and anticlimactic for my tastes. We follow a group of friends being killed off one by one by what may be a copy cat killer of a previous murder in the town or was the wrong person initially convicted?! ⭐#natashapreston #thehaunting #tea_sipping_bookworm #goodreads #getlitsy #thestorygraph

Despite spending most of the month obsessing over Agatha All Along, I still managed to read more books than September (yay for that!). It was a pretty good spooky month in the books, happily! #monthlywrapup #monthlystats #thestorygraph #storygraph

Stats are a little down from last month, mainly cause I watched a little more tv in August (still RAGING about the final season of the umbrella academy tbph)… but still read quite a few good books last month. 😄#monthlywrapup #monthlystats #thestorygraph #storygraph

I am loving the new monthly wrap up feature on #thestorygraph - love me some stats!
Looks like my reading went down in July (which makes sense since I spent a good part of the month catching up on shows) 😄
Who knows what August will bring 🤓

zezeki I'm seeing this everywhere on Litsy, but my Storygraph does not look this, where can I get this one? 😅 5mo
Eyelit @zezeki go to your stats page and select a month from the drop down at the top (default is just ‘month‘ so you‘ll have to select one) and then the view monthly wrap up box should appear. 5mo
lil1inblue @Eyelit I never realized I could do this. Hahaha. Thank you! 5mo

zezeki @Eyelit that's what I'm doing on my laptop and on my phone, but it looks the same as it always was. 😅 So, I'm not sure if this new look is an iPhone thing, or maybe a browser thing? 😅 5mo
Eyelit @zezeki I don‘t think it‘ll show up on a laptop/desktop computer. I think it only shows on phone. It could be it‘s iPhone specific? Idk tbh. It‘s def worth emailing StoryGraph support (they are remarkably quick to respond) 5mo
zezeki @Eyelit it must be then iPhone specific, because I'm using Android phone. Maybe in a few months, Android will be updated as well. 🤞🏼😅 5mo
peanutnine @zezeki it works on android too! I don't have an iPhone and was able to get mine. Once you get to your monthly stats page you have to click 'view month wrap up graphics' and it'll generate your summary and collages 5mo
zezeki @peanutnine thanks, it turned out that I also had to update my app 😅 5mo
Q84 Thanks, this was helpful. I found it on my android. 5mo

Glad to see that some things don‘t change, even in my prolonged absence… I still struggle to post images on Litsy.

For those who ❤️ #TheStoryGraph, did you see this cool new thing we can do? I love it so much, it made me want to post something somewhere. 😉

If you squint really hard and hold your mouth just right you may be able to see the books I read in June, with ratings. An overall mediocre month, but I loved some of them a whole lot!

Leftcoastzen 11/22/63 such a good book! 6mo
sprainedbrain @Leftcoastzen it‘s fantastic! 6mo
Ruthiella Litsy is always here when you are ready to come back. And @Pemberlittens is still a thing, so even when you are not around, your legend lives on! 😊 6mo

Librarybelle Hello!!! I am loving the cover image generator from Storygraph! 6mo
Clare-Dragonfly I‘ve seen a few people post these images but I wasn‘t able to figure it out. How do you get to that? 6mo
sprainedbrain @Ruthiella I love that it‘s still going strong! Every time I read something Austen or Austen-adjacent I think about how much fun we had! ❤️ 6mo
sprainedbrain @Clare-Dragonfly From the Stats page… first choose a month, then scroll to the bottom and you should see ‘share cover collage.‘ 6mo
Chrissyreadit Im so glad you are here! 6mo
Clare-Dragonfly I don‘t see it. Could it be a paid feature? 🤔 6mo
sprainedbrain @Clare-Dragonfly hmmm. I suppose it could be, but the email they sent didn‘t say it was only for plus. 6mo
Clare-Dragonfly I didn‘t get that email and I see that I‘m not signed up for the product newsletter! Would you mind forwarding it to me? (edited) 6mo

#storygraph just keeps getting better! Last week it was overhauled recs (already good to begin with, now even better) - and today I noticed the much talked about barcode scanner feature went live for me. Tested it out, works great! Perfect timing cause I was planning on cataloguing my owned books for stats (and to help ensure I #readmyshelves in 2024) - thanks to this scanner that project will take much less time! #thestorygraph

This was an entertaining thriller, I just didn't connect with or care about any of the characters, but that is more on me not on the actual book itself (which is why I still rated it 3 stars) I just found all of the characters to be unlikeable and I wasn't invested in what happened. I preferred The Wife Upstairs from this author. ⭐⭐⭐#tea_sipping_bookworm #goodreads #thestorygraph #getlitsy #bookqueen

This was a fun rom com/chicklit type read. I just wasn't that invested in the characters and I didn't really click with them, would be the only reasons why I didn't rate it higher. Its well written, well paced etc but I just couldn't connect with the characters, which is important for me when reading from the genre. ⭐⭐⭐#ashleywinstead #foolmeonce #goodreads #thestorygraph #getlitsy #kindle #bookqueen #bookstagram #chicklit

This was a charming magical read, I really enjoyed it. I loved the concept of a witches book club, it is definitely the kind of bookclub I would be joining. The writing reminded me of the Sarah Addison Allen books I have read, it was a captivating read for anyone who likes a witchy/whimsical element in their books.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #thewitchesofcambridge #mennavanprague #tea_sipping_bookworm #goodreads #greatreads #witches #fantasy #thestorygraph #litsy
