A December to Remember | Jenny Bayliss

Got about halfway through and had to come to terms with the fact that I‘m extremely bored and lost all interest in what happens with these characters. I just couldn‘t keep reading and was dragging my feet with calling it quits. Plus, I couldn‘t stand one of the MCs. And I just don‘t want to waste more time with this one, so DNFed!

❄️🩶❄️ https://theslowlivingguide.co.uk/4-ways-to-reset-your-circadian-rhythm/

I have definitely trying to change my habits and slow my rhythm this winter. ❄️🩶❄️

kspenmoll I‘ve got to sleep earlier down, but can only wake later obviously on weekends and this week once I‘m back to work it‘s 5:30 AM wake up. Not a morning person. I stumble around the house with my coffee.I can do rest more especially after work. This whole #naturalitsy concept has made me slow down considerably. 7mo
TheBookHippie @kspenmoll it‘s been very good for me #naturalitsy. I loathe mornings as well 😫 I‘m definitely not a morning person!!! 7mo
IMASLOWREADER this is already my rhythm lol im more of a fall winter person than summer…cant sleep early tho but def can sleep in lol and i also am not a morning person even when i have been the opener at work for years lol…my body just never got used to waking up early 7mo
TheBookHippie @IMASLOWREADER I loathe early wake ups 😫. 7mo

Not pictured are all the chocolate and tea.
Throne of Glass, Tower of Dawn, and Harry Potter 1.
Plus one green sparkly thing.
@BookishMadHatter @CuriousG @ReadingRachael thanks!
Hope everyone enjoys their books and holidays.

ReadingRachael Hope you enjoy! Please feel free to exchange the book for an earlier one in the series (or something different). It looked like you may not have read this one yet and I was trying to avoid giving you the same book as someone else🎄🙂. There is a gift receipt in the very front of the book. 7mo
BookishMadHatter Happy holidays! The green sparkly thing is a page holder for your thumb lol 7mo
CuriousG Happy holidays! Hope you were able to enjoy an evening of reading, tea and chocolate tonight 😊 7mo
thebacklistbook @BookishMadHatter ahhh... I probably would have used it that way eventually 😃 7mo
thebacklistbook @ReadingRachael I intentionally filled the form out a little differently to help avoid identical buys. No duplicates happened 7mo

Some ways to celebrate the 12 Nights of Yule.
#midwintersolaceyule #midwintersolace #yule #naturalitsy

Chrissyreadit 1. Celebrate the return of the light and the rebirth of the sun on the Winter Solstice, often with fire, candles and celebrations. 7mo
Chrissyreadit 2. Honor family ancestors and those who have passed. Leave an offering or light a candle for them. 7mo
Chrissyreadit 3. A night of divination and fortune telling- break out the tarot cards, runes, etc. 7mo

This was my Yule tarot spread last night. Thank you, @Chrissyreadit for the Yule book you sent, bc that was the spread we used. Our friend gifted us each with this gorgeous deck. It was a lovely, magical night to celebrate Winter Solstice!

Chrissyreadit I love it! what deck is that? 7mo
BookLineNSinker I love this! If love to know more about the spread. I need to read my cards for the new year. 7mo
wanderinglynn Great spread! And those cards are lovely. 7mo

wanderinglynn @BookLineNSinker I host a Wheel of the Year Circle. We meet virtually a few times a year and talk all things tarot, astrology, seasonal rituals, & more. You should join us. @Chrissyreadit is a member too. I‘m planning on hosting another circle meeting in Jan. We also have a WhatsApp group. Send me an email if you‘re interested: lynn@wanderinglynn.com 7mo
daena This is such a great deck. I‘ve been enjoying it myself, especially feels right this time of year. 7mo
BookLineNSinker I would love to be a part of it! I am not a master at interpreting each card's meaning and need the help of a book so I'd love to learn more about the cards and different spreads. Let me know how to link up with you guys! 6mo

#NaturaLitsy #MidwinterSolace

I realized I never posted any #HyggeHugs the other day so since my #WinterSolstice self-care day was like a big hug, I thought I‘d post some.

The botanical garden I drive to was more green than flowers & the day hovered between rainy & not (if you look at the picture with #HyggeHugs you can see grey on one side of the tree & blue sky on the other) but it was restful, green & beautiful & I alternated driving & ⬇️

DebinHawaii …walking about in between rain showers.
Since I was nearby, I stopped at a little grab-and-go shop featuring different musubi (filling between or on top of rice with nori wrapped around it & got a few savory things for dinner. My real purpose in stopping by though was to grab a few of their frozen creme brûlée‘s which are a little bit of heaven. I ate one in the car & put the rest in a cooler to bring home for the freezer. ⬇️
DebinHawaii …I had ramen & gyoza for lunch-perfect for a rainy day & the Christmas tree was by where I parked for lunch. When I got home this afternoon, I had a little package in the mail that I think was maybe my prize for the book recommendation/stacking. Thank you @chrissyreadit What a nice “hug” & I love all the scents & mini candle light! 🤗 ⬇️ (edited) 7mo
DebinHawaii … I am spending the solstice evening after dinner, opening & enjoying my #NaturalLitsy card swap cards & reading & relaxing more. I‘ve been a little tired/down, so today was some much needed self-care & the drive & listening to my audiobook & mellow winter/holiday playlist was perfect. I‘m looking forward to my cards & will post them tonight or tomorrow. 💙❄️💙 7mo
