This is very good. It's a mystery/thriller. The narrator is already dead. But she wants you to figure out what happened and tell you her story and the story of the woman that finds her. The cover is beautiful but I have no idea what it has to do with the story.

This book is magnificent. It's my first time with this author and it makes me want to go back and read the others. The author imagines the lives of the daughters of the first Chinese woman to set foot in the US. And the epigenetic footprint of ancestral trauma.

This one is pretty fun. A psychic and a cop team up to solve a bunch of old murders after she stops him from being involved in a plane crash. Think Spellman files or some other fun mystery with quirky characters.

That Summer: A Novel | Jennifer Weiner

I love this author. Her books just keep getting better. I like that she's body positive. And she throws in style elements that give her characters extra depth. Like clothes and interior design.

Diana gets a job on the Cape one summer. And something awful happens. And you're just going to have to read this to find out how she deals with it.

Dark Tides: A Novel | Philippa Gregory

I love this series. It just keeps getting better. I like that she made up the characters herself though I haven't read any of her other books. This picks up about 20 years after Tidelands left off.

Lana's War: A Novel | Anita Abriel

I liked this one a lot. This author is really good at telling a story.

Lana is pregnant and witnesses her husband being murdered by a Gestapo agent while trying to protect a child. This leads her to working as an undercover agent for the Resistance and helping to get Jews out of France.

Boooooks It‘s been so long since I read bear town and I loved it, I need to get to this one soon! 4y
BoleyBooks @Boooooks yes! I hope you enjoy this sequel as much as I did 😊 4y
Sresendez12 Loved this one! I liked it just as much as I liked Beartown, which is unusual because I usually love the first book the most! 4y

This was a tough read for me in several ways. It‘s the story of Emma, a 30-something hedge fund genius, who is self-destructing. She is spending most of her time drinking to dull tremendous loss(es), guilt, blame and depression. It‘s a bit of a downer to read, and I wasn‘t a fan of the abrupt skipping around in time to gain the backstory. Overall it‘s written well, but I wish I had connected better with the characters. 3.75/5⭐️ #Atria #NetGalley

I know you all love a good psychological thriller. You should read this one. I couldn't put it down. I felt compelled to find out what was going on.

A woman who was kidnapped 20 years ago disappears. When Fern sees her on the news she knows that she's seen her before. When the girl's face appears in her recurring nightmares, Fern decides to unravel the mystery. Why does she know her?
