The Talisman: A Novel | Stephen King, Peter Straub

#augustphotochallange #authorcollaboration I found the Stephen King and Peter Straub collaborations on The Tailsman series to be quite intriguing. And, as things would have it, both of these writers have children who are also exceptional writers. Though, Emma Staub tends not to write as much horror as her father. Well, that might not be true, because every day life can be a little bit horrified at times.

My #uniquefact: music has always been my therapy and while I have a ton of bands that I love very much there have only been two that have touched me on a deep level. Where the songs have reached right to my soul. Joy Division is one of those bands so of course I named my son after their singer Ian. 😍 he thinks it's cool he's named after a singer! #augustphotochallange

Stephanie-Anne Very cool name! (My older son looks quite a lot Ian Curtis, though he doesn't understand yet that this is a cool thing.) And yes, music is like that for me too. I can put a single song on repeat and it's like a balm. 9y
