Another fabulous instalment in the Kim Stone series; Ms Marsons never puts a foot wrong! This one very much focuses back on the personal lives of the detective team, with the continuation of a storyline from the last book, although of course there are still crimes to solve. As ever, the perfect mix between the two.

Wow. Just wow. I‘m not huge on Nonfiction but this is so bonkers wild from start to finish. The perfect storm of utter failure and ridiculous-ness it just... incredible.

I‘ve got to watch the documentary now.

Carreyrou's investigation into the corruption infecting medical company Theranos is brilliantly written. I found myself gasping at some points as if I were listening to a thriller--it's that well done. His research is thorough and convincing and includes the accounts of a plethora of individuals who worked for Elizabeth Holmes, completely taken in (at first) by her claims and her passion. I can't say enough about the power of this book.
