scripturient Yay! I hope you didn‘t wait all this time to open it. The blanket probably needs one or two washes before it gets really soft and cosy (I have the same one). I hope you haven‘t bought the book for yourself in the meantime. It was on your TBR when I shopped for the package. :) I‘m really looking forward to the book you sent me. Anyone else weirded out when they read a book where you share the same name as a main character?

I'm reading the book that I got from my #BlanketAndABookSwap and one of the main characters has the same name as me!! It's so weird reading a book where the character's nicknames are ones people sometimes call you. She and I are polar opposites but still super similar (booknerd and fangirl anyone?) PenguinInFlight I rarely stumble across any Beverlys, although I did in one of Sue Grafton‘s books recently. I was excited for a couple pages, then I realized she was a colossal bitch. 😂 (edited) 7y

monalyisha Ha! I never see my (ridiculously-spelled) name anywhere. The closest I‘ve come is Alyosha in “The Brothers Karamazov” (which I DNF‘ed like, 8 years ago 🙈). 7y
