I knew how prolific Kirby was in the '60s and I knew had badly Stan Lee and Marvel screwed him over, but I had no idea how many comics he wrote before and after WWII before even creating the Fantastic Four.

Jack Kirby is probably the single most influential comic book creator. Tom Scioli's biography of Kirby is written as a graphic novel in the style of the old comic strips that Kirby read growing up.
My #specialedition includes every single comic of Charles Schulz's PEANUTS from 1952-2000. I reread all of them every year. My mom was a major Peanuts fan, and so am I. On her 50th birthday, I wrote Mr. Schulz, asking for a comic strip to give her (offering to pay, of course). He CALLED ME and told me it was a gift from him to her. Now that she's gone, I have it. #mostpreciousgift
