pickElla Sarah Gets Dressed by Margaret Chodos-Irvine. This book is a Caldecott Honor Award book. This story is about a girl named Ella Sarah who wants to dress herself. Her mom, dad, and sister all try to give her other options of clothing to wear but she is set on wearing her own outfit.
This book could be used when talking about individuality. I think this book would be a good social-emotional book because Ella Sarah wears what she wants even though others are telling her otherwise.
