Witches Get Stuff Done | Molly Harper
post image

This is my first book by Molly Harper. I‘m really enjoying it so far. Paranormal books in audio format are real hit or miss for me. Sometimes the narration is just not good. I‘m glad that‘s not the case here. I‘ll definitely be giving more Molly Harper books a try.

5feet.of.fury I just finished one of hers, the narration was perf & it was good 6d
Sace @5feet.of.fury oh that one sounds really good! Thanks for sharing! 6d

This was laugh out loud hilarious fun fantasy read with demons and omens and evil under lords.

I loved to hate and laugh at Laszlo an 800yr old demon more interested in martinis than mayhem.

And I definitely fell in love with Maggie, a fiercely determined kickass woman that has no time for the chaos that is Laszlo.

I loved it! It was a little too long but still a fun ride.

5feet.of.fury It was so good! I found the ending a bit too chaotic. But Lazlo & Maggie‘s dynamic was wonderful. 2w

I liked this a lot. Humorous, spooky, adventurous. I love the interactions between Laszlo, Maggie & Lump. I saw where this was headed, but as the ending neared I really wondered how it would come together -a bunch of extra stuff seemed thrown in at the end… but on the whole it was good and I was quite entertained.

Mmmm I thought this was YA, since the MC is 16, but…maybe like older YA?? It was alright. The story felt a little half-baked, and it was a lot of sitting around and waiting for things to happen. Also, how in this small town has no one noticed a BASEMENT full of goths going missing???

An island theme park, similar to West World or Jurassic Park but for Dungeons and Dragons and Fantasy lovers, has been hijacked by the creators and a force field is keeping the corporate owner out.

Addy is hired, along with a few mercenaries, to sneak in and get the shield removed.

The writing isn‘t great and it‘s a little predictable, but I still loved it for its many fandom references- unicorns, sphynx, dragons, LOTR and more!

I loved this!!!

The Appalachian setting, the clash of past and present and how everything comes together. I‘m so keen to get my hands on the companion novel and find out what else the sisters get up to.

I stayed late at work to finish off the audiobook - I was on the edge of my seat!!

Magpiegem Great review! Immediately stacked! 9mo
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @Magpiegem, you know it‘s good if I stayed longer at work 🤣 9mo

TW sexual violence I really enjoyed most of this book but the sexual violence in the middle was both not needed nor handled properly.

It‘s stupid cold. I‘ve made myself finish off a cowl and I‘ll start something else. The Witchstone is fun though. Kinda jaunty with the air of a heist yet to happen.
