Fabulous ending to this trilogy! Marske really raises the stakes in multiple ways, and I absolutely love what ends up happening with British magic. Dufay is glorious. And the sex scenes are 🥵🥵🥵

Great finale to this trilogy! Spicy and with a good balance of romance and mystery/thriller as our team works to stop the bad guys in stealing all the magic in England for themselves.
The last book in this trilogy and it was so good! I loved this series and loved listening to them on audio. All the characters are together trying to stop them from getting the artifacts for the last contract. So much happening and so many ups and down! Strong conclusion to the series!
Another enjoyable entry in this series. I was delighted to meet Ross and Violet and get to know Maud and Hawthorn more in this volume. I enjoyed the first book a bit more, because the pacing was better, but I felt the character connections just as strongly and laughed out loud just as often with this. Super excited for the next book! #LGBTQIA #Fantasy

A confession: Freya Marske‘s worldbuilding and plots don‘t stick in my head well, so I had to relearn the ropes every time I picked up the next book in this trilogy, but her VIBES, y‘all. Her vibes stick with me so well I‘m pretty near addicted to them. They‘re what‘s got me hoping I‘ll have enough time to devour the last 130ish pages of A POWER UNBOUND later today, preferably in just a couple of sittings so I can really stay inside it.
Apologies for the terrible lighting...
#bookreport a good week, not what I forecast though! I finished Girl Waits with Gun, and started back on Wharton when my hold on A Power Unbound came through, like 8 weeks earlier than expected. So of course, I dropped everything for that--really enjoyed that trilogy.
#weeklyforecast back to Wharton, and maybe a #BookSpin or #roll100 pick
The third in a trilogy (I think), and I thought this tied up the story pretty well. Recommend for lovers of queer fantasy/ magical realism/ historical fantasy/ romance. They do have spice. I liked the main relationship in this one, as well as different views of previous characters.
It‘s a lighter pick, as I‘m sure within a few months I won‘t remember many details, but an enjoyable read/ listen.
I'm going to give the #bookreport / #weeklyforecast thing another whirl, see how long I can keep it up.
Finished Persephone in Bloom and loved it! Had a blast spotting all the myth references. I'm currently reading and loving A Restless Truth and Carry On, Jeeves and should finish both soon. Next ebook will be a sci-fi novella, An Unnatural Life. Next audio... Not sure!
Soooo how is my plan of reading only owned books in January going? Well my first book was A Marvellous Light which I loved so much I immediately put book 2 on hold, not expecting it to come in for a while. But it did, and of course I'm going to start it next... Let's go with *mostly* only owned books in January 🙃
