I am a 36 year old, Polyamorous woman who cares deeply for someone that is Trans. I am a Womanist/Black Feminist and my feminism has absolutely no space for Transphobia. So...seeing a transphobic comment on one of my post angered me and I responded in a way I usually wouldn‘t. I‘m Frankly sick of this mess....Trans women are Women and Trans men or Men. End of story. Transphobia has no space in the Potter fandom...and the Transphobic comments coming from Jo herself are deeply troubling and harmful. Trans women are women. I will be donating some money in the coming weeks to groups that Support Black Trans Women. I will kindly keep my fandom but Jo can kick rocks.
