#bookisholympics Its 12.15am Sunday here so I've officially finished the olympics. Yay! As well as the nine books here, I also finished The Glass Room by Ann Cleeves & I got through half of A Court of Thorns & Roses. So all up its 10.5 books in 7 days. I'm quite proud of that, though I do have a lot more free time than most people competing, but hell. Not bad for a self taught reader! #goingforplatinum🏅🏋

#bookisholympics #bookeleven Thought I'd give it a last minute rush to midnight, 3hrs away here, and try for book11. This sounds intriguing, & it's been recommended by litsyiers as well. Feyre is a huntress, but after killing a magical creature she's imprisoned in an enchanted court by her enemy. But she's drawn to her captor, and her feelings start to burn through every warning she's been given. Wish me luck🤘#goingforplatinum🏅

#bookisholympics #bookten I decided to go with Vera for my tenth book. Dark Matter was so deep & twisted I thought I good old fashioned murder would be the best palate cleanser!😋 Detective Joe Ashworth & his daughter are on the train when he realizes the woman in the corner isn't breathing. No one saw the murder happen, though the train was full. DI Vera Stanhope goes to quiet Mardle to investigate, but locals are clamming up. #goingforplatinum🏅

#bookisholympics #booknine Thank you guys so much for recommending this book! As you can probably tell by how long it took me to read it, I loved it! It was even more mind bending than Inception & I love that movie. Had to give it a thumbs up even though it hurt. I hope to god that this science stays theoretical & some numbnut scientist doesn't invent this machine. I mean, hasn't science done enough to this world. Really. #goingforplatinum🏅

#bookisholympics #booknine Halfway through this mindf**k of a book. I kinda understood about Schrödinger's cat before reading this, but, if this is scientifically accurate, I now understand it more. It's terrifying, but at the same time, the thought that there may be a world where I'm not sick makes me happy... No, it's terrifying, and very much envy inducing. #catstate #goingforplatinum?

#bookisholympics #bookeight I know it's only seven books, but I thought I'd see how many I can read in the week allotted. Plus, coffecup bin! The book was the 23rd Inspector Banks novel & was 480pges. I love this series, but it's starting to show "old characters syndrome" starting to get a bit tired. That said, it was an enjoyable crime novel about a jimmy saville type entertainer & the murder of a young girl. 4?#goingforplatinum?
