I will have to agree with RanaElizabeth on that an #honestbooktitle for this would be The Borings. It is quite readable, but nothing happens and the characters are just not interesting at all.

rubyslippersreads This is just how I felt. 😄 8y
LyndseyReads I took this off my list when several reading friends gave a similar review. 8y
Titania I didn't try with this book, but I am enjoying the TV series (1 episode in)! 8y

AmyG I'm with you. I wound up finishing this....but pretty much skimming it. Not worth reading. 8y
Coleen I thought it was okay -- enjoyed it enough -- but just a stupid title for this particular book. It's just asking for ridicule. 8y

This is basically a 2 in 1 but I figured I'd throw in an #honestbooktitle for funsies as I'm realizing this book has a MILLION endings. Return of the King should really be called Return of the King & Saruman's still an ass & Ents made a garden & Eowyn and Faramir are my new OTP, etc. etc. SO, I've managed to get 19 hours done so far, and read almost 5 books. #24in48 #readathon

I'm actually making progress here and seriously, I didn't think I would get hooked.

I'm hooked. I've never read or listened to anything like this before. If nothing else, it's a celebration of the English language.

LitHousewife You are my hero! 8y
rachelm @LitHousewife dude, you are. I couldn't even do #24in48 this year. So jealous reading posts (even #honestbooktitle ones ;) ) 8y
Notafraidofwords You are brave 🙏🏽👍🏾 8y
LitHousewife @rachelm Ha!!! My youngest daughter has become more and more insistent on getting my attention as the weekend has progressed. I'm about done. 😊 8y

"Too Dang Long!" #honestbooktitle #24in48

Karli I read that exact copy in undergrad, and it's REALLY long. But it was great. The great Russian writers could have used some great editors as well. 8y

#honestBookTitle : I wish I was a kick-ass all-powerful lady-magnet bard wizard and not this total nerd. By Patrick Rothfuss

I could get carried away with this game...

ElizabethAndino I adored this book! Can't wait to dive into the next one! 8y
Gezemice @ElizabethAndino The next one is good, too, its #HonestBookTitle : Kvothe - The Stud Years 8y
Broke_Girl_Reads Lol @Gezemice both your titles are on point. I like the books and I like Pat, but Kvothe is 100% a Mary Sue 8y
Gezemice @Broke_Girl_Reads Feel the same way! I follow his reviews on Goodreads, he is fun. But Kvothe can drive me nuts with his perfectness, even though I like the story. 8y

#honestbooktitle "You're gonna wake up one day and be 45 and realize you're NEVER going to figure out the work/life balance thing because it never got easier, just harder." #24in48

SusanInTiburon Balance: hah! It's just another thing we're supposed to do perfectly. I prefer "chop the wood that's in front of you." 8y
LauraBeth Just keep chopping what's in front of you @SusanInTiburon - no need to look at the uncut trees ahead of you or the wood in the fire behind you 😀 8y
