Men need woman more than women need men; isn‘t that the untold secret of the world? 👠👜👶🏻

I heard a great interview with the author on Just the Right Books. I went and ordered this one ASAP, also was able to get the second one out of the library, this weekend.

janeycanuck Ooh, it piqued my interest when I heard that episodes, too. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it! 1y

Lost in my TBR pile, or maybe I started reading and DNF? I don‘t remember anyways, I saw there is a second book out and sparked my memory of the first. We‘ll see how far I get this time.

#MarchMunchies Day 27 #Tarts

This funny read has a memorable beginning, where the main character is bashing fruit mince pies with a rolling pin to make them look home made 😂.

Louise 😂😂😂 2y
Tereses Yes I have always remembered that scene and was often tempted to re-enact it when the request came from school for the cake stall 2y
Jeg At Xmas I get fruit mince pies , take them out of containers, dust them with icing sugar and sometimes I get away with it!! 2y

Finished my 1st book of the #24in48 readathon!! It just made me sad- sad that 15 years after it was published not much has changed for many working women. They are still encountering bullying & harassment in the work force. But there are parts with her kids that make you laugh because you recognize the daily drama of kids.

laurenbescoby The sequel addresses the whole fact of it not changing as well, as she tries to get back into work. 2y

My #tbr stack is ready for the #24in48 readathon this weekend!! I tried to have a mix of genres but looked for favorite quick reading authors & a few nonfiction for variety. Not sure which one to read first.

Pulling into Friday (and the last day of the semester) like...

I‘ve worked 48 hours in 4 days, and I don‘t have a day off until next Thursday. I. Am. Tired.

But, in case any kittens are stalking me, I do know that I have three packages waiting for me in my apartment office. Hopefully I‘ll be able to pick them up tomorrow.

Jess7 Oh my. I feel ya. I‘ll put in about sixty hours this week myself. Sooo tried. Prepping for a January 3rd trial date is no fun! 2y

#Riotgrams Day 13 #pinkcovers I scoured my shelves for pink covers, and could only find these. I've read and enjoyed Malala & I Don't Know How She Does It, but have not read the other two. Cloud Atlas is my husband's and Kiss & Tell is on one of our TBR. shelves.

Jeg When you come next week I need you to show me where you find these hash tag things! @MrsMalaprop 3y
Jeg And how to use them! 3y
MrsMalaprop @Jeg Happy to 👍. 3y

I just opened up this book out of curiosity because I haven't opened it since I read it. I found a dated piece of paper in there from 2003 and an anniversary card from my husband. I also found my daughter's first sonogram picture tucked away in Harry Potter (a memory of reading it while I was preggo)😀 I need to look inside all of my old books now #24in48

#honestbooktitle "You're gonna wake up one day and be 45 and realize you're NEVER going to figure out the work/life balance thing because it never got easier, just harder." #24in48

SusanInTiburon Balance: hah! It's just another thing we're supposed to do perfectly. I prefer "chop the wood that's in front of you." 3y
LauraBeth Just keep chopping what's in front of you @SusanInTiburon - no need to look at the uncut trees ahead of you or the wood in the fire behind you 😀 3y
