Soubhiville @sudi and @CareBear , it‘s a slow start- there are a zillion characters and a ton of world building. But interesting things are happening, and I hope the rest of it will move faster. 5y

sudi @Soubhiville it gets a lot better but you have to be patient to get to the best part. I intially took a break while reading it because the world building and character introductions were getting boring after a while but it start to makes sense halfway through. Hope i didn't spoil anything 🙈. Enjoy 😊 5y

I missed the original time for the Hour 6 Challenge, but I wanted to participate anyway.
The part of this quote that spoke to me was how she thanked her daughter for “teaching her the rest”. Everyday my daughter teaches me something new; patience, humility, how to laugh when you don‘t want to, how to trust. I‘ve never thanked her, I never thought to, she‘s only 13 months. But now I will.

That is exactly the kind of conversations you have with five-year-olds. But somehow this opening seems a bit disturbing. Like the kids have been replaced by alien copies and they are monitoring and recording your answers for the awaiting invading space army.
Actually, no, that‘s exactly what 5y/olds are like.
