I‘ve never read a book like this one before. LGBTQ+ yes, many and I typically love them. But the way this one was written was very different. I‘m unsure if I love it or simply liked it. My opinion may be tainted because I chose to finally read this during a trip to Greece. I do believe it‘s worth the hype.

I wasn‘t even done with book description and I was already hooked. Didn‘t even finish the first chapter and I‘m already madly in love with Whisper and the world building has already gotten me lost in the pages. I am so excited and a little worried I‘ll be up all night devouring this book.
UPDATE: took longer than a night BUT IT WAS AMAZING I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

Last year, with minimal effort, I read 6 new books, all from my TBR stack! So this year I‘m hoping for more!
First book off my stack is this fairytale retelling. I love retellings honestly, and so far this one is really good. I picked it for it‘s snow theme which is perfect for chilly and wet Bahrain weather.

So I ended up reading the rest if the series back to back. I still feel the movies may not have done them justice. I think this hits different now that I have children and I am older. I imagine at 16/17 I would‘ve loved this series but I don‘t think I would‘ve appreciated it as well as I do now.

I have finally read it! And I liked it! It was a very good read and I‘m glad I watched the movies before I ever read the books because I like getting to know the deeper information. I ended up reading it in under 24 hours. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I think it was really well written and most of characters quite interesting. But towards the ending it went from horror to a little cliche and happy. But it was a nice read. Definitely recommend if you want something spooky but need SOME positivity somewhere in the book.

Wow. I was honestly scared I wouldn‘t like this. A lot of the Amazon reviews made me fear it was just a cringe fest. But I was surprised. And shocked. And disgusted. And laughing. And captivated. This is DEFINITELY for mature audiences; there are topics and mentions that left me about to toss the book in a River. But the imagery is amazing and the story is beguiling, can‘t wait to read the next two books! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I hecken LOVED THIS BOOK!! To be fair I have never read Wuthering Heights, so the plot was new to me. But I loved the creativity of space as a backdrop. And the characters felt like real teenagers thrown into adult hood. And how Stella speaks and acts, especially how she has interactions with different men she finds attractive I found super relatablez ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It wasn‘t what I expected. I loved Fairest and Ella Enchanted and was so excited for this, but it felt like I was reading a strange plot synopsis than a story. There‘s was no love and care put into the descriptions and the characters seemed like flimsy paper dolls to me rather than fleshed our people that I‘ve grown to know over 30+ chapters. I did manage to read this in one day, just to see if there was a plot twist but alas no. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well last year I only made it to 8 out of 26 and 17 out of 27 of my personal book goal. Here‘s to hoping this year will be the year!

I did not like this book at all. This was for a college assignment and it was a pain to read. I believe because the author totes his information as “factual”, but never offered cited sources. I didn‘t bother to read the “recorded” zombie attacks at the end of the book, so this is technically a DNF.

I‘m so conflicted. This is the first graphic novel I‘ve ever read, so I‘m not sure if it‘s me or the authors style that‘s driving my opinion.
The story is very interesting, the art style is very beautiful as well. That alone would be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Buuuuut.....the super sexually graphic scenes are really disturbing. It does take away from the story and art A LOT.
So honestly I would rate this ⭐️⭐️ but will keep reading for the story.

Interesting story, and the plot twist I didn‘t expect so that‘s nice. It‘s not greatly written, and there‘s typos. But the story itself is intriguing enough to keep going until the end (although I read this in small chunks at a time)

My husband is Hawaiian and our trip to Hawai‘i was important for us as we wanted to our daughter to have the same cultural education as her cousins have. I liked reading this. The story wasn‘t QUITE original (got a Tangled throwback) and it was oddly heavy on the Christianity. In the first half it made sense for the time period, but at the end I felt like I was back in youth group with my pastor trying to tie everything back to God and the Bible.
Still an enjoyable read!

While this was an assigned book for my Eng Comp class it wasn‘t a terrible read. I did like learning the true origins of the creature and Frankenstein, and could relate to some parts as well.
Although some of the LENGTHY descriptions of the setting and the flowery language often times bored me.
