I enjoyed this Civil War historical novel that was inspired by the letters of Rosetta Wakeman & other real life 'secret soldiers' during the Civil War.

After Griffin‘s first love dies, he keeps thinking about #ifyouleavemecanIcometoo? So far, it is very YA, and I‘m not sure I‘m in the right mindset for it at the moment. The fluff and feelings are a bit too much for me right now.

#IfYouLeaveMeCanIComeToo #MarchIntoOz This was one of the first books I ever reviewed for NetGalley. It was a Christian Woman‘s fictionalization of the biblical story of Ruth and Naomi. As a Jewish reader, I enjoyed the author‘s take on this biblical narrative. It was a bit sappy and overly romanticized but still a pleasant read. I‘ve always admired the words of Ruth to her mother in law “Where you go, I will go & where you stay I will stay”

I really enjoyed this reimagined Jane Eyre. What if Jane was a serial killer ? Carried knives in her skirts? Swore colourfully? Drank spirits? Fell in love with a troubled soul? Ran away?This was a rollicking, irreverent story -Jane Steele is pure entertainment. #marchintooz #ifyouleavemecanicometoo

Of you wanna read about a creepy stalker psychopath with no hold on reality - get yourself ahold of this book! Teo is a twisted student who becomes obsessed with Clarice, and he will do whatever is needed to make her his. There were parts of this book that disgusted me to the point where I almost had to quit... But it sure is an interesting ride!

My first Munro, and I agree w/her reputation as short story master- I liked every single one in this collection, and 'The Albanian Virgin' & 'The Jack Randa Hotel' rank among the best stories I've ever read. The latter is perfect for today's #IfYouLeaveMeCanIComeToo prompt (I love this song title @Lizpixie !) and for the #MarchintoOz theme also. I loved how the story MC's act boldly to follow their desires, regardless of small town conventions.
