pickGreat children‘s book about the making and fundraising for the Statue of Liberty! There‘s a section in the back about fixing the Statue of Liberty if it helps! I gave my copy to my stepfather‘s nephew Jason as he‘s going to be in recovery from surgery till the 7th of December I believe.
pickI just love this children‘s introduction to NYC. It really caught the feeling of the city.
I was supposed to be there this week but alas, COVID.

Last night, my oldest and I finished this book. So today, my boys (K and 2nd) and I threw normal school instruction out the window 👋🏻, took a virtual tour, and started a penny oxidizing experiment to see why Lady Liberty 🗽 is green. And also built this fun Lego Brickhead, which I‘ve coincidentally been saving for a raining day. ☔️ STEM all up in here! 🔬

My routine, of late, is to have coffee sitting by my front window and watching early dog walkers and for the mail. Today I got #poutinepenpals mail 🎉thx @Tianarose and @StayCurious you made my day 😘
so-soLots of forced writing just to include some bigger Texas cities. It would be fun for kids who live in those towns, but otherwise I'd skip this one.
