Went for a nice #audiowalk today — it was our first in over a week due to the recent heat wave we‘ve been surviving in DC. In honor of the Peculiar Children (whose stories intrigue me) #LittleDude & I walked to the Mushroom House. My mom used to walk me here when I was a kid (another perk of living in my childhood neighborhood!)

Very glad I gave the #audiobook for this sequel a chance. It‘s a different narrator & that‘s making such a difference.

A gift from my mother for my first #MothersDay. She gave it to me at lunch with my grandma & #LittleDude at a local estate-museum (Hillwood) on Friday. I immediately opened it and read aloud, much to her amusement and my grandma‘s bemusement. I can‘t wait to share Cookie Monster and Sesame Street and Wonder Woman with 👶🏻 when he‘s old enough!!

#LittleDude had some shots yesterday so he‘s a bit needy today and wants to nap on Mama. Moments like this are why I‘m glad I keep my #kindle in his room!

Took a two hour aimless walk around my neighborhood yesterday with #LittleDude powered exclusively by listening to this book. Every time I thought it might be time to go home, I‘d tell myself just one more chapter.....

One of my best friends sent me these soon after I told her I was pregnant and I‘m just now finally getting around to looking at them. Now that he‘s almost 12wks (or 4wks adjusted because he‘s a preemie) to get #LittleDude on a schedule ASAP; hoping I‘ll find some useful insights/tools inside these covers.
