pickA quick, fun romance to end #loveathon2023. This is a nice variation on the marriage of convenience. The characters were what drew me into this. The MCs are a bit older, and have their foibles, which definitely keeps it from being your run-of-the-mill Regency romance. A new author for me, I‘m certainly willing to try more of her books.

Lynnsoprano @Lizpixie It‘s actually a camellia. We were at the botanical garden in Orlando on Friday, and their beautiful collection of camellias was in bloom. The color of this one is just spectacular, I think. 2y
Lizpixie I was tossing up whether it was a camellia coz of the perfect petals but came down on rose because it‘s usually roses when you talk about love & Valentine‘s Day! I have some pretty pink & white camellias next to my carport out the front, they‘re beautiful plants. I want to get a tea camellia for a large pot on my verandah soon. 2y
Lynnsoprano @Lizpixie Even though we‘re only a 160 miles farther south, we‘re too hot for camellias, so we always try to get to the garden in Orlando when they‘re in bloom. Enjoy your blooms! 2y
