Home for the weekend and my goal is to finish this book I‘ve been putting off way too long and to finish a netgalley.
(The blue basket has rocks that the kids paint, so I‘m sure I‘ll be interrupted to clean up that mess later on 😅)
I know many are probably also dealing with snow, but here‘s my front yard today. I‘m charging things in case of power outages and have books a plenty to read snuggled up. Stay safe out there! 😸
I‘m reading as a buddy read but I‘m actively rooting against the romance 😭😅
Oh man I needed some reading time. I‘ve started some home renovations and it seems simple on paper and then suddenly my dining room is filled with living room furniture and I‘ve been sanding and painting for days. 😅
#blameitonLitsy - finally giving Audible a try. Used my credit on one of my favourite historical romances - the last of the series and the best in my opinion 💚🐉
I joined a new book club last night!
One of the things I missed most when we moved 3 years ago was my book club.
This club reads all kinds of romance and Slightly Dangerous was a good one.
Often funny, a little unexpected, and very real emotions.
This is the last book in a series of six and I liked it so well, I'm considering picking up the other five.
This is such a fun romance. It's fake dating with a rivals-to-lovers flavour, and I like how much fun the main characters are having.
Read for #roll100 @PuddleJumper
Perfect for 12-3AM when I needed a fast HEA read to get over worry about clients (clearly my boundaries were not as strong as usual) enemies to lovers- sort of kind of reminded me of Pride Of The Peacock, but not gothic, no mystery and mostly likable characters. Thanks @monalyisha for supplying the escape via #jolabokaflod.
