#MountTBRchallenge Number 23 and 2020 The Year of Phyllis A. Whitney.

This was a fast and twisty read set on the island of Rhodes.

Setting Goals | John Renesch

I‘m thinking I‘ve got some pretty reasonable book related goals for the new year.

I‘ve set my highest ever #goodreadschallenge number because I have tons of novellas and graphic novels lying around the house just begging to be read (which will also help feed into my #mounttbrchallenge) 😃

I think the biggest challenges will really be the Litsy goals... I really will need to make an effort for those.

Here‘s to a new year of reading!

This was Number 92 on my #MountTBRchallenge. I might make it to Mt. Everest this year. This story reminded me of “Hatchet”. Granted this was written first.

This was another discard save. I am slowly making it through the mountains of Indiana Public School Discards. And it is #MountTBRchallenge Number 91.

#MountTBRchallenge Number 90. This was a discard that I saved from one of the School libraries that I worked in while living in Indiana. Most of the Jean Craighead George books that I have read were discards.

On Track for Treasure | Wendy McClure

I can‘t find the “on track” stat on the Goodreads app, only on the desktop. I keep forgetting to look when I‘m at work 😆! I remembered this evening 😁! I came from waaaay behind to being 9 books ahead of schedule! 😱 Not bad with everything that‘s been going on this year. 🙈

I‘m not a math-ey person, so I‘m not sure why I‘m so far ahead with only a week to go before 2019‘s half-way point, but I‘ll take it. 😌

How are you doing with your goal?!

GypsyKat I started the year really slow reading wise, but I‘m doing better lately so I think I‘ll hit my goal. 👍 8mo
Kimberlone You‘re doing great! I‘m also on track at 57% (40/70 books read) 8mo
booklover76 29 out of 60. I am assuming I am on track. 8mo

JaclynW Good job! 8mo
julesG I'm an overachiever, managed 151 of 150 yesterday. 🙈 8mo
BookHoarder32 Way to go @julesG! I'm at 92/100 then I plan to read some chunksters. 8mo
julesG @BookHoarder32 Thank you! It wasn't intentional, guess I just read and reviewed a lot. Chunksters is a good idea, guess I'll try to get on with my #MountTBRChallenge. 8mo
Macnjen I hit 31/30! 8mo
Hooked_on_books I‘m at 70% of my goal, 139 of 200. The app gives you your numbers and percentage, but not whether you‘re ahead, behind, or on track. Your stats are in the “more” section if you‘re still looking for them. 8mo
xxjenadanxx 140/85 so far lol. I underestimated myself this year! 8mo
Birdsong28 Click on the 3 lines on the left hand corner of the app and it will bring up a menu and the fifth option should be your challenge tracker. Hope this helps @MrBook 📖📚 8mo
Birdsong28 I have finished mine. 🎉🎊📚📖 8mo
KarenUK On book 50/100 so right on track.... 8mo
Liatrek I am having a good year so far with 40/50 read 😊 8mo
Geeklet 22/52 but I expect I might not hit my goal since I‘ve randomly decided to read giant fantasy epics and I‘ve hit a funk with audiobooks. No biggie though. I wish Goodreads did a page count goal in addition to the books read goal. I‘d smoke that. 8mo
TheSpineView I have read 48 out of a goal of 75. A little ahead of schedule. 8mo
Bradleygirl Just hit 75 out of 75 and went wait... really? And realized I read a lot of graphic novels and may need to readjust 😆 8mo
stacybmartin I‘ve read 120/300 so I‘m waaaaaaay behind. 🤣 8mo
sisilia 25/40 🙈 8mo

Thanks for the tag @Nessavamusic.

1) choosing favourites is always hard, I really enjoyed the tagged book
2) an ARC by a well-known author
3) the last book in Ink and Bone series by Rachel Caine
4) Goodreads Challenge is 134/150 books, #MountTBRChallenge is 62/100 - going good

This book was wonderful. Here is the link to my gr review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2008068554

And yes, I did misspell year. Where is spell checker when you need it. Must have had too many carbs during dinner.

rretzler Love PD James. I think I may have read all of her fiction, plus Talking About Detective Fiction, but I haven‘t read her autobiography(ies) 9mo
