My kids loved the bottom 4 books when they were young and now I'm enjoying reading them to my grandbaby. I saw there's one we don't have but I don't think I'll be buying it. 😬😯💲💲💲

Kicking off the #physicalfitness motif with the tagged book. I‘d owned many books that diagrammed proper form for weightlifting. Most of them I let go over time because watching a YouTube clip was more instructive.
This one I kept. The illustrations, with the intricate detail of musculature, is uniquely informative. You can see what‘s going on under the skin and how all the muscles are layered and connected.

I‘ll be starting a new motif in January to showcase books I‘ve kept on fitness, sports & physical activity.
Different things have interested me over the years from trail hikes to triathlon, and I seem to collect books about whatever I‘m doing.
Physical fitness is interpreted broadly (books on essential oils might make an appearance). Feel free to join in and add to the motif collection!

This is a great book that teaches students everything about the body. It‘s start off simple with basic body parts and as you read it get into the bones and muscles of our bodies!

Today‘s BodyPump class was a little easier than last week, but I know I‘ll still feel the burn! Of course, that‘s the point, no? #BookFitnessClub #bfc
My kids are so excited looking at this book. The flashlight showing the internal body systems is brilliant!
Posted yesterday about Usborne's Peep Inside series. The Look Inside series (with flaps, lots of 'em!) is the perfect follow on. The subject matter is more advanced, perfect for curious pre-school aged readers. Am torn between the two ranges right now - there is a space one in this series too. This series probably has more longevity for my nearly 4 year old though.
Day 4. Muscles. I sadly don't own a single book that has anything to do with muscles 😂 #aprilbookshowers @RealLifeReading #muscles
