pickPretty good! It hooked me from the start because it is partly based in the Outer Banks. Took a while to finish, but did enjoy the story and mystery!
so-soI have never really understood the pull of a cozy mystery but one set in a lighthouse library in the outer banks - one of the most beautifully places I have ever been and I couldn‘t resist. It was saccharine sweet but I did think characters were fleshed out well and could see the appeal of diving back into the world created (was v into filters in 2013 clearly!)
pickI rated this 3 stars and took a week or so to update the review with my thoughts. Now I‘m here and I don‘t remember what happened. I have no recollection of how this book ended. But I must have like it a bit when I read it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
pickLots of actions and lots of people involved. We have an accident with high school students, many who died as a result of. There‘s an annual weekly reunion at a beach house. Most of these young women and men would rather be just about anywhere else. There are secrets, lies, and suicide. There‘s lots to hide. Unexpected circumstances seem around every corner. What will happen and secrets be revealed? 4/5
pickYou know how books are so amazing because they can transport you to another place? That‘s what I love about the Lighthouse Library Mystery series set in the Outer Banks, North Carolina, where I love to vacation. Not only that, the heart of the story takes place at the Bodie Island Lighthouse. Eva has created a fictional library inside the lighthouse with a tiny apartment. It‘s purely dreamy!
