It‘s okay to get angry. I am training to become a life coach, and it bothers me when some coaches discount a person‘s anger. Negative emotions are a part of life, they give us balance. It‘s when they dominate our lives that it becomes a detriment to our health and well-being.

I am incredibly frustrated today, and yoga 🧘‍♀️ and meditation totally backfired. Sometimes it is just okay to veg. With a book!

AmyG Oddly enough, I went through a period of being angry as hell....and found that listening to heavy metal music was calming. Go figure. Ha...I yell in my head. A good yelling song is the best. 5y

riversong153 Amen! As a person that sometimes struggle with anger I find myself chastising myself even when the circumstances would illicit anger in anyone. I try to remember it‘s okay to be angry sometimes, its normal. 5y

whatsthEStorey I love that you‘ll take your perspective on anger into your life coaching! It‘s cool to see everyone‘s different coping strategies! Yoga and/or meditation when angry do not work for me! Sometimes vegging out really is a healthy coping skill. 5y

Weaponxgirl @AmyG I have a list of artists I listen to that I just call my angry ladies. Just being able to voice frustration through lyrics and having a bit of an angry bop whilst I‘m doing something often makes me feel better too! 5y

Especially after our day got even worse. Yesterday afternoon we found out a friend of my daughter - who has been in the hospital w/ flu complications - passed away. She was a 5th grader, and our whole school community is heartbroken by this loss. 5y
