2 - Never read the book, yet the other day we watched the movie, “The Secret.“

My mom always raised my brother and I to think positively, be positive. In our cultural ways, my mom has even taught me that in everything I make, cooking/baking, gardening, craft/arts, to be positive while creating because what you make absorbs the energies.

This movie hit home.

I'm working on “It's OK to rest and pause.“

Possibly my least favourite book ever written. (If you're a fan, perhaps don't read my review on GR... it's quite a rant!)

I should give positive thinking more of a chance. My current tactic of wallowing in self pity hasn't exactly been paying off 🤔

1. Absolutely not. Do I think that - all other things being equal - positive thoughts are more likely to lead to a good outcome than negative thoughts? Sure. But the idea that your circumstances are wholly dependent upon your mindset is absurd, and becomes rather odious when taken to its logical extremes.
