We‘ll start reading on or about Feb16 and discuss parts 1-3 on March 8.
Discuss parts 4 & 5 on March 22 with final discussion on March 29.

TrishB It is the Tudors. Not sure how much you know now and then need to know. Maybe a Wikipedia read of a Henry VIII and Cromwell? 4y

Centique I loved this and I reckon you will too! It‘s slow moving but not as slow as Dickens or anything. I think having an idea of the Henry VIII, Anne, Cromwell story first is a good idea because it‘s like Mantell is filling in the gaps, making the characters fully rounded, adding in the conversations, the scheming. And yes, there are a lot of Thomases so having a little character list might help. 🤞🤞😘 4y
