I didn‘t like this one. It was too weird & awkward for me. I didn‘t like either of the characters & they didn‘t have any character arcs.

My favorite book of November was Sinner by Sierra Simone. The second book in The Priest series.
pickThis is the second book in the Priest series. I loved book one, but this one was better. I was hooked from the beginning. I love how Zinny made Sean want to be a better person. His journey was incredible. The book is extra steamy, but it is wonderful prose and characters that make me want to give this one more than five stars. so-soThis was even steamier than the 1st, I don‘t know that it‘s a good thing, it bordered on “impossible for the human body” &the dirty talk (honest-girl/honest-guy thing?) was so cringe. Part of my dislike is likely that I find a lot of age-gap romances yucky, &while Sean Bell tried to give Zenny control -it‘s impossible under the circumstances.
That being said I liked Sean‘s character development, there were a few emotional scenes that humanized him
pickI picked this up with zero expectations. It‘s the last in the trilogy but the one I thought I‘d like the best. IT WAS SO GOOD!! I cried, I laughed, I grinned ear to ear. I was committed to the struggle of Aiden to find a balance between his need for religion and his love for Elijah. The spice? 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. I‘m going to need to get the first two in the series now.
