One 5⭐️ read for me in November ‘24, and of course it‘s a Kim Stone book. 😂😂 Surprise, surprise. 😉 This one was a bit over-the-top gruesome (as in how depraved can torture be?! 😳).

There were 2 other runners up from Marsons and 2 from the same author under different pen names (Alison Stuart and A.M. Stuart).

Though August was another great month, immediately after finishing this ARC, I ordered three copies to give as Christmas presents because not only did I love it, but I knew my BFF, mom and SIL would also love it! I am looking forward to hearing what they think!

I read a lot in December due to time off work. Most of my favorites I‘ve already posted about for challenges. I want to highlight this title because I love Kunzru as an author. It didn‘t delve into the fantastical like others from him but it‘s still a crazy story. I appreciated Kunzru‘s intelligence and questioning of reality-why we value what we value. In large part, it‘s about art; what isn‘t art; how society commodifies art.

I had a few five star reads this month. The one tagged above and the secret Christmas bookshop were my fave. Not sure i can pick one.

I had several 5 star reads for November, including The Talk by Darrin Bell and Escape from St. Hell by Lewis Hancock (both graphic memoirs.) I picked this because it's such a .... me kind of book.

I found this series while playing kindle roulette (in which I scroll really fast through my kindle library and read whatever my finger lands on) during my holiday AND it was a delight! I read the first two (this being the second) back to back and am saving the third until I see a release date for the fourth book.

#12booksof2024 : November

My jam is absolutely damaged detectives solving crimes in an unusual manner with some romance on the side.

Andrew65 As good a way as any to choose a book. 7h
AlaMich I love that, Kindle roulette! 😂 6h

#12Booksof2024 Day 11

My favorite book of November was The Collected Regrets of Clover, which I read with my IRL book club.

I had many great reads in November, so this was a hard one. But Crawdads wins by a pinch. It was so good.
