This book was SO. FUN. Young Leia is so stellar (pun intended) in this Claudia Gray book. I also loved the extended cameo from young (future admiral) Holdo. Watching Leia come into her own using her brains and heart was so fantastic! One of the best Star Wars books I've read.

pickThis is a very brief book, somewhat memoir, more just colorful anecdotes and witticisms by the late Carrie Fisher. It‘s pretty funny - everything she says has a sharp and dry wit to it and while she speaks frankly about her substance abuse and other life curveballs, there is very little self-pity involved. It reminded me all over again how sad it was that the world lost her too soon. #princessleia #strongwomen
