1. She‘s Like The Wind - Patrick Swayze

2. You Give Love A Bad Name - Bon Jovi

3. Under Pressure - Queen

I was born in 1990 so I didn‘t hear any 80‘s songs until later on but the 80‘s had a lot of good songs. I couldn‘t decide what was my favorite but I like these songs.

Man's Search for Meaning | Viktor E Frankl
Pickpick

I also read this in high schoolThere is a lot of dark and triggering Holocaust history here, but it is still powerful and worth reading. Viktor describes his suffering and how it affected his psychology theories. One pf my favorite quotes was “One may only demand heroism from one person and that is one self.” He preaches that one powerful meaning in life is through love. He writes about his logotherapy and how it has affected his patients.

Everyone should read this book! We could all stand to learn more about friendships, the different kinds that exist, how to make them, maintain them, and the value of them. This was very well written, included a lot of real world examples and was thoroughly researched. I didn't know anything about the author going into it but learning that it was written by a black woman was the cherry on top 💜

One of those books that the tagline is super interesting — a memoir from an adult who participated as a child in the Block Study. Though this is a thread that runs through the book, the author has few memories of participating and has little access to files, so there‘s not much to go on. What we end up with is a memoir about a detached mother and horrible marriage. I didn‘t hate it, but it certainly doesn‘t deliver on its promise.

Started this one after Kim Jiyoung. Had been debating getting a new therapist, but by the end of the intro I knew it was time! I downloaded the PDF of the questionnaires and wow talk about clarity! I don‘t know if any real healing has happened yet, but someone is ready for therapy now. Very clear how both my mother and grandmother expressed their emotional immaturity. Talk about an eye opener!

GingerAntics I mean, I knew they were both abusive in their own ways, but I always thought of my grandmother as the mature one… the adult in our house. Turns out, NOPE! Just as immature as her daughter. #LindsayCGibsonPsyD #AdultChildrenOfEmotionallyImmatureParents #audiobook #busbook #mindblown #newperspective #therapy #therapyhereicome #eyeopener 2w
